Pura Suerte is a 40-acre organic farm with 10 acres of undeveloped virgin forest.
Over 100 volunteers have spent time at the farm, working in the fields, learning about organic farming, and contributing to Pura Suerte’s evolution. These volunteers bring diverse ideas, perspectives and languages to the farm and add to its already pervasive international flavor.
Some volunteers stay for a couple of days while others stay for months. All of them go home with a greater respect for the ecology of the rainforest.
Not everybody who visits Pura Suerte chooses to work in the fields and sleep in bunks. For these visitors, we have designed and built a number of private bamboo Jungle-Os. Each cabin is an original design and is supplied with hand-made furniture, electricity and running water.
In the evening visitors can enjoy amazing sunsets, a plentiful dinner and a lively and well-stocked bar. | |
