Jungle Fusion was born in the town of La Florida, a small Central American farming community of less than 100 people from 20 indigenous families.
Most homes in La Florida are built on high sloping pastures that face westward from the Talamanca Mountains towards the glimmering surface of the Pacific Ocean. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Manuel Antonio, a wildlife park that is a popular destination for backpackers, tourists, and locals from all walks of life.
When the clouds have cleared above La Florida, you can see all the way to the top of El Diamante, one of Costa Rica’s highest waterfalls.
Most nights you can watch a bright red-orange sun drop into a vast expanse of Pacific Ocean. | |
